Raising money for Rockinghorse Children's Charity

Rockinghorse is a Brighton-based charity which has been supporting children for over 50 years. It was set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann to improve healthcare services for sick children and babies. The charity fundraises for items for every child's treatment, from toys to life-saving equipment.

Story

I am fundraising for Rockinghorse Children's Charity, a Brighton based charity which supports sick and disabled children across Sussex.

This team page is all my mates helping me to raise money for the rockinghorse by joining me in The Brighton Half Marathon, the 15000fy sky dive or players in the charity match.

My boy has recently been in hospital at the Royal Alex, having a couple of ops to make him better.

My twins spent the first 7 weeks of their lives in Trevor Mann Unit, where the staff and facilities were amazing.

I can't thank them enough so want to give back.

IIl be running the Brighton Half Marathon in March 2025. Ive never run more than 10k and ive only ever done that 3 times.

Then there's the big charity game, Brighton & Hove Albion Legends vs The Rockinghorse Allstars, with loads of famous faces

I'm not stopping there, I'll be doing the Santa Dash in December, running 5km whilst pushing the twins and finally to top it off in May, I will be doing a 15,000ft sky dive with my best mates Vic and Shelli.

They support babies, children and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex.

Since 1967 they have supported nearly a million children with lifesaving medical equipment, support for families, environments and spaces for children and additional staff.
