I’m taking part again in the Men’s Walk on 7 March 2026 because I’m determined to stand by my local hospice, so that they can be there for others like my wife Jaki during one of life’s most difficult journeys.

Hospiscare is a local charity, caring for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors and nurses offer free, expert end-of-life care in the community and at Searle House hospice in Exeter. Over the years, they’ve comforted and cared for thousands of people in our community, enabling them to live life to the fullest.

Despite the difference Hospiscare makes to so many people, funding is always a challenge, so I want local people like my wife Jaki to be able to access this vital end-of-life care when they need it.
