Men’s Walk: Stand for Something Special

Since its launch in 2012, more than 6,000 people have taken part in Men’s Walk. Last year alone, over 1600 walkers raised a phenomenal £160,000 for Hospiscare – and we couldn’t be prouder of our community for standing up to support their local hospice.

But Men’s Walk is about more than just numbers. It’s about more than a 7-mile sponsored walk, pasties and watching a great game of rugby. At the heart of Men’s Walk is:

* A safe haven in a storm

* Confidence to face the future

* Lasting memories and meaningful time

* One last day at the beach, a birthday to remember, a visit from a beloved pet, watching the latest episode of countdown, a pint with a friend

At the heart of Men’s Walk is someone like you – and that’s why Men’s Walk matters.

For over 40 years, Hospiscare has provided free expert palliative and end-of-life care for those in need, enabling those facing a terminal diagnosis to make the most of the precious time they have left. We want to be there for our community, but we can only do it with your help.
