Supporting Miles and Great Ormond Street Hospital 💙⚽️

Oliver Rooney is raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Over the summer, just before he was due to start high school, Miles received the devastating news that he had a brain tumour. He is now undergoing chemotherapy at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), where he is receiving incredible care and support from the doctors, nurses and everyone looking after him.

Miles has been a much-loved member of the Northwood Football Club U12 Gold team, and football has always been a huge part of his life. His teammates, coaches and everyone at the club are behind him as he faces what is an incredibly difficult time.

To show our support for Miles and to give something back to the hospital caring for him, one of the managers at Northwood FC is taking on the challenge of shaving his head in support of Miles! ✂️

We are hoping to raise £1,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. GOSH does extraordinary work supporting children and their families through some of the toughest times imaginable, and we would love to raise as much as we can to help them continue that work.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this page and helping us spread the word would mean so much to Miles, his family and everyone at Northwood Football Club.

Come on Miles! 💙⚽️

Thank you for your support.
