Story
We are holding a charity race night at The Miners Arms, Medomsley, on Saturday 26th September 2026 in aid of our chef Lottie’s young grandson, Teddie.
Teddie has a bleeding disorder and is supported by The Haemophilia Society. The charity supports people and families affected by haemophilia and other bleeding disorders by providing advice, specialist resources and opportunities for families to connect. It also raises awareness and campaigns for better care and treatment.
The evening will include ten horse races, bingo and a raffle, with the first race beginning at 8.15pm. Everyone is welcome and there is no entry ticket required.
We have received some fantastic raffle prizes, including a Smart TV. Raffle tickets cost £5 for a full strip and can be purchased from the bar at The Miners Arms (01207 513 214) before the event or on the night. Please make sure your full name and telephone number are recorded so that we can contact you if you win. You may call us for a raffle ticket and make a donation to this JustGiving page if you would like to participate but would like to take part.

We hope to bring the local community together for an enjoyable evening while raising as much as possible for The Haemophilia Society. If you cannot attend but would still like to support the event, any donation through this page would be greatly appreciated.
