I’m taking part in Lock up the Lawyers, a brilliant courtroom‑style fundraiser in support of Maggie’s, the charity providing free cancer support to people with cancer and their family and friends.

On the day, I’ll be “arrested”, put on trial and challenged to raise my bail by calling in favours and rallying support, all in good humour, but for a very serious cause. Every donation helps Maggie’s continue to offer vital emotional, practical and financial support to people when cancer turns life upside down.

Maggie’s support is completely free and available without appointment or referral, but demand has never been higher. With more people facing delayed diagnoses, mental health challenges and financial pressure, this support is needed now more than ever.
