This a tribute to my wonderful dad Peyman Luo who worked as a nursing home manager for over 13 years in Denmark. As a kid, I volunteered at my dad's nursing homes with my brother - playing the piano, baking cookies, and just spending time with the residents. My dad has dedicated so much of his career to improving the lives of people with Alzheimer’s, and every day he witnessed the cruelty of this disease.

Alzheimer’s Research is a charity that strives for a cure – by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia. September is also World Alzheimer's Month, which seems extra special with my fundraiser gala being 17 September.
