Story
My dear friend May Myat Noe is a model and activist from Myanmar. She had to flee her home after the 2021 military coup in Myanmar. After her activism, an arrest warrant was issued against her, but luckily she managed to escape.
Sadly, millions of people in her home country continue to suffer from civil war, poverty, and recently the earthquakes. Better Burma is a charity dedicated to supporting Myanmar’s journey towards peace, justice, and democracy. They provide essential humanitarian aid and advocate for human rights.
On the night, I'll be selling t shirts, crewnecks, and hoodies designed by Burmese artists with 100% of sales going to Better Burma. Please get in touch if you'd like to purchase any.
Examples of where your donations will help:

For £11 you can give a dignity kit which helps provide washable cloth pads, soap, and menstrual-health education, supporting girls and women in refugee camps.
For £20, you can provide school supplies and support for a child in Myanmar, helping them stay in school and pursue their dreams despite hardships. Every woman deserves comfort and dignity every day of the month.
For £73 you will provide vital materials to rebuild homes and monasteries, giving earthquake survivors hope and stability.
