Sadly, I’m sure most of us have lost a loved one to cancer. For me, this is my 外公 – my mom’s dad. He died from lung cancer when I was six years old: before I had a chance to speak better Mandarin, to improve my spice tolerance, or to take him shopping for a suit to wear to my gala.
