We are in the midst of a national crisis for young people - school engagement is at its lowest point, school exclusions at their highest, and mental health at its most challenging in a generation. Yet places and systems seem stuck. They respond to late-stage crises but can't prevent such crises from happening in the first place. This is the worst possible outcome for everyone: bad for young people, bad for social and education services, bad for communities.

AllChild supports children and young people in underserved neighbourhoods across the UK, helping them to build the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to flourish. Working in schools, they connect children and families to the services and support they need, to help them overcome challenges and build up confidence, key skills and positive relationships.

I have worked at AllChild for the past year and have seen first-hand the hard work and passion that goes into everything we do, as well as the inspiring success stories of so many children and young people.
