Story
On a seemingly ordinary day, a child faced an unimaginable challenge. After experiencing discomfort, they entered nursery only to struggle with walking, leading to a life-altering diagnosis of Leukaemia just days later. Now, halfway through three years of treatment, this brave child is supported by a project funded by BBC Children in Need that offers essential play therapy.
Right now, countless children across the UK are confronting life's toughest moments without the support they desperately need. Many are living in poverty, grappling with mental health issues, dealing with grief or disability, or growing up in communities affected by hardship. Every child deserves someone who shows up for them during these critical times.
That’s why we are fundraising for Early Years, BBC Children in Need 2025. We invite you to join us in our personal challenge on November 14th, 2025, as we collect 25 listed objects for the '25 Challenge'. Your generous donations will directly fund local people and projects across the UK that provide vital support to children and young people when they need it most. Together, we can ensure that no child has to face life’s toughest moments alone.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
