The company I work for, the Orb Group, has supported the Beatson Cancer Charity for many years and this year in conjunction with the Charity, has put together a one of a kind Yoga event in the Glasgow SEC. This will be Scotland's biggest ever charity Yoga experience.

This fundraising event is also more personal for me as late last year Doctors found a large tumor in my daughter's brain. Amazingly in a 9 hour operation, they removed most of it and she was out of hospital less than 2 weeks later. She made it through this horrific thing, 6 weeks of radiation at The Beatson and is living her life with regular check ups and prayers that the small piece they had to leave behind has stopped growing. The Beatson & QE Neurology have been our absolute lifeline during this horrific ordeal. They didn't just treat her; they saved her life.

I am fund raising so that other families can receive the same lifesaving care and support that kept Laura with us.

I hope to raise as much as I can to support this worthy Charity.
