Our Journey – A Small Team, A Big Cause
This year, a small but determined group of us from HBO — Jenny, Emma, Emma and Andy — are coming together to take part in the Bank’s Do Good Feel Good event. Whether we’re hiking 14 miles or cycling 66 miles as part of the baton relay, we’re united by one shared purpose: to make a difference.
We’ve been inspired by the incredible work of the FTD Brothers, whose campaign has shone a much-needed light on dementia and the urgent need for research. Their story has truly hit close to home for us. Within our group, we’ve seen first-hand the devastating impact of Frontotemporal Dementia — a rarer, lesser-known form of the disease that affects families in deeply challenging ways. Others among us have also been affected by different forms of dementia, each experience unique, but all equally heartbreaking.
With every mile we walk or cycle, we’ll be carrying more than just a baton — we’ll be carrying the stories, memories, and hopes of those we care about. We’re doing this to raise awareness, to support vital research, and to help move us closer to a future where fewer families have to face the challenges dementia brings.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference. Thank you for supporting us and being part of this journey.
