The Big Ride 2025

The Big Ride 2025 · 17 June 2025
I’m taking on The Big Ride Challenge in support of Street Child, a charity working to ensure every child is safe, in school, and learning — especially in the toughest places across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Day 1. 18th June. I’ll be hiking the Spinc and Glenealo Valley 10km loop in Glendalough. This is not just a trail through beautiful landscapes. It’s a reminder of the daily struggle many children face just to reach school.
Day 2. 19th June. I’ll be running a Half Marathon along the Blessington Greenway forest trail, circling the Blessington Lakes and passing ancient forts. That’s 21.1 km of commitment for a powerful cause.
Why? Because Street Child helps children in low-resource areas and crisis zones gain access to education and safety. They work with local organisations to build long-term solutions and create lasting impact in more than 20 countries.
I would be truly grateful for your support. Whether through a donation, a kind message, or simply spreading the word, your support will help change lives.
