Two years ago, our dear friend Shiv Mistry passed away following a severe allergic reaction while we were on holiday together in Spain to celebrate finishing our A-levels. To honour his memory and try to save other people from the same fate, we will be participating in the Thames Path Ultra Challenge (50km), a grueling ultra marathon in September 2024 from Putney Bridge to Henley. Due to personal health issues, I myself will be walking the last 25km with Shiv's family. We hope to raise money for Anaphylaxis UK, the only UK-wide charity operating solely for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.
