🏉 CHELTENHAM vs LEICESTER — FOR A CAUSE THAT MATTERS 💛
On Saturday 28th March, the Man v Fat Rugby teams from Cheltenham and Leicester are going head-to-head in a charity match at Bournville Rugby Club, Birmingham — and every tackle, try, and scrum is in aid of the 4Ed Foundation, supporting families living with Motor Neurone Disease.
Can't make it? You can still be part of it. Every donation counts.
The 4Ed Foundation was established following the MND diagnosis of the former Gloucester & Leicester rugby player Ed Slater. We apply the unique spirit of unity of the Rugby Family to create an inclusive community for families impacted by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). 4Ed has brought sporting rivals together to achieve something of a far greater significance than trophies and championships. In the Slater Cup, Cherry and Whites and Tigers stand side by side to celebrate one of their own, Ed Slater and to recognise the impact that MND can have on even the strongest of us.
The core purpose of 4Ed is to ease the financial burden on families by raising money to award grants that offer financial assistance and practical support.
By supporting this fundraiser, whether a Cherry and White or Green and Red, you will be directly contributing to this important work and helping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
