Myself along with my wee mini me Aoife are running our ages in kilometres in March for Age UK. Forty Five for me and six for Aoife.

The Covid pandemic followed by the cost of living crisis has seen demand for the services of both Age UK Blackburn with Darwen and Age UK Cheshire increase dramatically at a time when their own costs are increasing and funding opportunities are reduced.

We have seen for ourselves the incredible work and support that they offer for local older people including those living with dementia and how they need to fundraise when we volunteered for a few weeks last year and want to support them further in 2025.
