Story

Hi, I’m Nancy…

I’m the Digital Media Assistant for APS Support UK, and I absolutely love working with this incredible charity and the amazing APS community. APS Support UK means so much to me—not just because of the work we do, but because I understand firsthand what it’s like to live with a chronic illness that isn’t widely understood.

So, when I had the chance to take on an adrenaline-fuelled challenge and raise money for a cause I care deeply about, it was a no-brainer! I’m doing a tandem skydive during APS Awareness Month, to support APS Support UK, helping them continue their vital work providing support, raising awareness, and funding research for people living with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).

APS is an autoimmune condition that increases the risk of blood clots, strokes, heart attacks, and pregnancy complications. Despite its serious impact, it’s often misunderstood and underdiagnosed. APS Support UK is the only UK charity dedicated to improving awareness, supporting those affected, and driving research to improve treatment.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and to those affected by APS. Thank you for your support!
