Raising money for APS Support UK

Story

We’re skydiving for APS Support UK!

Hi, we’re Nancy and Declan—and on 7th June 2025, we’ll be throwing ourselves out of a plane (tandem-style, don’t worry!) to raise vital funds for APS Support UK during APS Awareness Month 🪂💜

I’m Nancy, the Digital Media Assistant for APS Support UK, and I absolutely love working with this incredible charity and the amazing APS community. APS Support UK means so much to me—not just because of the work we do, but because I understand firsthand what it’s like to live with a chronic illness that’s often invisible and misunderstood.

When the opportunity came up to take on an adrenaline-fuelled challenge for a cause I care deeply about, it was a no-brainer. And I’m lucky enough to be joined by my friend Declan, who—despite having no personal ties to APS—wanted to get involved and help raise awareness and funds for the charity. Legend.

APS (antiphospholipid syndrome) is a serious autoimmune condition that increases the risk of blood clots, strokes, heart attacks, and pregnancy complications. Despite its impact, it’s still underdiagnosed and not widely understood. APS Support UK is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting those affected, raising awareness, and funding research to improve treatment and diagnosis.

Any donation, big or small, will help us make a difference. Thank you so much for your support 💜
