In Memory of Arslaan Zaheer

On 1st and 2nd August, I will be taking part in the Big Ride for Palestine, cycling approximately 50 miles across Birmingham and Coventry to raise funds for the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA).

I am dedicating this ride to the memory of my beloved nephew, Arslaan Zaheer, who sadly passed away on 1st August last year.

Arslaan was a loving and caring son, husband, and father whose kindness, generosity, and compassion touched everyone who knew him. He is deeply missed by his family and friends, and his memory remains alive in our hearts.

As we remember Arslaan, we pray:

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ

Allahumma-ghfir lahu warhamhu wa 'afihi wa'fu 'anhu.

"O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him peace and pardon him."

May Allah forgive Arslaan's shortcomings, expand and illuminate his grave, grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, and reunite him with his loved ones in the Hereafter. Ameen.
