They can help people to understand their cancer diagnosis and treatment options and support them through their cancer experience. These nurses are experts in controlling symptoms, such as pain, sickness or breathlessness. They also give emotional support and practical advice to people supporting their loved ones too. Macmillan nurses will do all they can to ensure people living with cancer can live their life as fully as possible.
