Story

As the Head of Fundraising at Bath Cats and Dogs Home, I'm running the Bath Half Marathon. It's not my longest challenge, but it's special because I've just had newborn twins. They'll be 4 months old by the race day, and I hope to run some parts of the half marathon with them in the pram. Training has been tough as I am well and truly sleep-deprived and out of shape but Bones, our rescue dog has been dragging me out.

Our expert team care for around 800 animals every year. Some are loved pets who can no longer be with their families and, with an open intake policy, we also accept cats and dogs who have nowhere else to go – some have life-changing injuries or suffered abuse and neglect.

Your donation will help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need now.

Please sponsor me! Every pound raised will go to Bath Cats and Dogs Home, who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, abandoned and cruelly treated pets from Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire.
