Help give baby Brian a brighter future this Christmas!
Through our work with the community in Nikuringo we often meet people that desperately need our help with life threatening medical problems. On our most recent trip in Oct 25 a your mother 'Odeta' brought her 9 month old baby ‘ Brian’ to meet us, hoping that we could help him.
Brian had been born without an anus - meaning that he was unable to pass waste. He had a temporary opening made in his tummy as a very young baby but now urgently needs the reconstructive surgery to allow him to survive.
Brian, although 9 months old, is only the weight and size of a 3 month old baby- his body is struggling to get the nutrients it needs.
We need to raise more than £2,500 just to pay for his initial surgery procedures. We also hope be able to help with any on going care and check ups that are needed too.
Any funds raised over and above what is needed to help Brian will be used to help others in the community that also need medical help- so every penny really does count.
