I like a challenge. When the worlds of the Terry Fox Foundation and Wrexham Wales collided last year, I thought we should bring the full Terry Fox experience to the town. Ryan Reynolds both owns the local football club and collaborates with the Terry Fox Foundation, but what we found is a genuine mutual interest in fundraising for cancer research, and sharing the legacy of Terry Fox to those in Wrexham.

I'm proud to say the first ever Welsh Terry Fox Run is being held in Wrexham October 13, and as Chair of the UK Terry Fox Association, I could not have executed this without an army of dedicated volunteers in Wrexham, all over England, and Canada.
