Neil's fundraiser for The Myton Hospices

Neil Reed is raising money for The Myton Hospices

Team: Her strength, our stride

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

My sister in law Tracy North who I’ve know for nearly 30 years sadly recently died of cancer.

Tracy was like my own sister, we have so many wonderful memories together. As tough as it was seeing her poorly at the Myton hospice in Coventry, I was overwhelmed by the care and support Tracy and ourselves received

I was shocked to learn that the Myton are a charity, not the NHS, and must raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it costs this year to provide our services free of charge.

Just 17% of our funding comes from the NHS.

Myself along with some of Tracy’s family and friends are taking part in this tough challenge of completing a half marathon, please spare a minute and few pounds if can to support this great cause and to honour the legendary woman Tracy was and the thousands of families that will or have needed the support of Myton also
