At just 5 days old Georgia had to undergo surgery for a twisted intestine and bowel at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool. We then spent a week there whilst she recovered. The care Georgia received was just incredible and without the amazing work of the surgeons and nurses Georgia’s life may be very different. Fingers crossed this shouldn’t ever cause her issues later in life and hopefully she won’t remember anything!
