This September, along with 9 other friends we are taking on the Ironman Wales race for an incredible cause - Ty Hafan children's hospice. As one of the most gruelling races in the world, we are diving head-first into a challenge that will test every ounce of our strength, resilience and determination. The Ironman Wales race consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile marathon - all of which must be completed in less than 17 hours to qualify.

Knowing our efforts are going to such a worthy cause is sure to give each of us an extra boost of motivation. Ty Hafan is a charity that provides support and care for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families, so the money raised by these ten athletes could go a long way in helping the charity reach its goals.
