Story

‘The Rachel’, ‘The Amy Winehouse Beehive’, ‘David Beckham Mohawk’ & ‘The Dale Maxwell Beard’ are some of the most iconic hair styles of the last few years.

After 12 years in the making, Dale has (reluctantly) agreed, in the name of charity, that it's time to (temporarily) reinvent the icon. If we can raise enough money, he will shave his beard off for Children in Need. Children in need believes every child deserves the chance to thrive, across the UK they fund vital projects in local communities that support children facing poverty, mental health struggles, grief and other challenges. What a fantastic opportunity for us to support a brilliant cause and after 12 years see what Dale looks like without his iconic beard!

- What makes the ‘The Dale Maxwell Beard’ so iconic

- Washed daily with a heated brush to make it straight and less coarse

- Oiled regularly to keep it soft

- Shaped and trimmed by Dale himself using an angled mirror

- Stroked in meetings when deep in thought

- Used by Arlo to pull himself up and practice walking

- A brilliant source of inspiration for friends and family when buying christmas gifts (Christmas beard baubles, care sets & combs)

Not only can we raise a fantastic amount of money for charity, but we are also going to be saving Dale hours a week in beard care. Please dig deep and donate!!

BBC Children in Need believes every child deserves the chance to thrive. Across the UK, they fund vital projects in local communities that support children facing poverty, mental health struggles, grief and other challenges. Too many children are facing impossible challenges alone.

Right now, BBC Children in Need are only able to fund 1 in 6 organisations needing support. Your donation will fund more of these local people and projects to ensure there’s someone who shows up - someone who listens, supports, and believes in them.
