After 15 years of entering the ballot to run the London marathon I finally received a place for this year and I can think of no better charity to benefit from this than Crohn's & Colitis UK and here is the reason why..

My wife received the news she had Crohn's approximately 25 years ago. Her condition is largely controlled by medication but this brings its own problems and side effects. A significantly reduced immune system and the possiblity of surgery at some stage in the future means living with the condition is a constant and difficult one.

Your donation will help Crohn's & Colitis UK improve diagnosis and treatment, and to fund research into a cure; to raise awareness and to give people hope, comfort and confidence to live freer, fuller lives.
