We’ve been hitting the trails and roads, as well as the flapjacks again!

On 16th May 2026, 16 of us are taking on the Cosy Bike & Hike challenge — together covering 755 miles for two brilliant local charities.

Every penny raised goes to Derby Kids’ Camp and Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre — two local charities giving Derbyshire’s most deserving children experiences and holidays they’d never otherwise have.

SkegVegas100 has had over a decade of success with cyclists completing the 100 mile journey from the heart of Derby to Skegness every year - raising over £160k in total. And now, fundraisers can also get involved in the Bike & Hike with a 13 or 20 mile walk in the Amble to Ashbourne challenge.

Fundraisers will select their event, assemble at the Derby Arena on Saturday 16th May 2026 and Bike or Hike their way to raising much needed funds to support local children’s holidays.

All of the money raised from the Bike & Hike in 2026 will provide much-needed holidays for young children from Derby & Derbyshire, who face significant challenges in their day to day lives.
