To support my nephew Bill, in his battle with Mitochondrial disease—a rare degenerative genetic condition—during the week commencing 3rd July 2023, I am attempting to play 72 holes of golf in one day, which is four rounds and will take approximately sixteen hours. Funds raised (target = £2000) will be gifted to the Lily Foundation, which supports research and helps care for those with the disease and their families.
