Story
Five years ago this Nov , we sadly lost our beloved Mum , fondly known as "Babba" to many , the heart and soul of our family. We miss her every single day , but we continue to cherish the love and strength she gave us all .
Mum was always the biggest cheerleader and fundraiser for my past challenges - now I'm feeling stronger, its my turn to give back in a way that honours her memory and the unwavering support she always gave to me and show our deep gratitude to St Barnabas hospice .To do this I'm taking on the challenge to power walk the undulating terrain of the Beachy Head trail Marathon this sat - famous for its beautiful scenery (which Is the best bit ) but the total elevation gain 1318 mt , rolling hills and the cruel 300 steps as a finale (not so much fun !) This is not just about me pushing myself ; its about raising money and giving back to the amazing team at St B's who helped us care for mum at home in her final month with such kindness ,compassion and dedication. They supported us through the toughest time of our lives, for which we will be forever grateful.
Every step I 'll take will be for Babba and every donation , no matter how small the amount , will help to make a difference in ensuring that the wonderful St B nurses can continue to provide the same exceptional care, comfort and support for families just like ours, facing similar heartache.
Thank you for all the inspirational support and encouragement that I have been given to get me through this Sat ,
and in Babba's favourite words and smiles ,
"Love you to the moon and back " xx
