Hi, my name is Nicky and I’m12 years old. Thank you for visiting my page!

Along with a small group of local Scouts, I’ve been selected to go to the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027. It’s a huge event, one of the largest youth leadership events on Earth. Scouts from all over the world meet, camp together, try new activities, make friends and learn about different countries. We will cook, manage budgets, work shifts and collaborate with young people from all over the World. People who’ve already been say it’s life changing. Their parents say they came back more confident and independent.

I started in Beavers when I was 6 and now I am in Scouts. Scouting has given me so much, I am a more confident person with lots of Scouting friends. If I had to pick one thing I have enjoyed the most, it would be when we went camping for a canoeing weekend last year with another group of Scouts. I also enjoy it when we arrange community events, like litter picking, running a gaming hub for older people and volunteering at the local food bank.

Why I Need to Fundraise To Go To the Jamboree

I need to raise £3,500. This money pays for: -

The Jamboree itself

Travel to Poland

All the training camps we have to do before we go

I’m not doing this on my own though! Me and five other Scouts from my unit are working together. So no one gets left behind we are doing our fundraising as a team.

Your Donation Helps More Than Just Me

We’re going to keep fundraising even after we reach our goal, any extra money we raise will go into a Legacy Fund. This will help future Scouts who want to go to the next World Scout Jamboree but might not be able to afford it. So if you donate, you’re not just helping me. You’re helping other kids in the future too.

Why This Means So Much

Going to the Jamboree will help me learn new skills and meet new people. I’ll learn teamwork, leadership and how to take care of myself away from home. I am looking forward to sharing everything I learn with the Scouts in my area and making new friendships and connections with Scouts all over the world. I've started learning Polish to help.

I know it will take a lot of hard work to raise all this money, but I’m excited to try. I’m really grateful for any help.
