Charity Quiz & Raffle in aid of Neonatal Unit Fund · 16 January 2026

By making a donation to our fund you are supporting our Neonatal Unit to improve care for sick and premature babies and their families. All donations are invaluable in supporting the work we do.

Story

In 2024 and 2025 we both found ourselves needing the care of the Neonatal Unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital for our premature daughters Agnes and Elara.

We can’t put into words what this charity means to us. They saved both of our babies lives. The work they do is absolutely crucial to many families every year!

Recently the neonatal ward have been able to buy reclining chairs for every bed space so parents can have much needed skin to skin with their babies. A fully equipped kitchenette, 5 furnished bedrooms with double beds, and TVs. They hade also funded a video diary system which cost 4k, so that staff can send parents photos and videos of their babies when they can’t be with them.

We want to show the neonatal ward how much they mean to us and help them improve their facilities for the families who will spend time there.

Our raffle includes some amazing prizes such as generous donated dinner and wine for two at the Duchy Larder, a cinema voucher, Cycle hire for a family or 4 and many more!!

From the charity:

‘’By making a donation to our fund you are supporting our Neonatal Unit to improve care for sick and premature babies and their families. All donations are invaluable in supporting the work we do. Any donation however big or small will go a long way to help our little ones and their families.

We are the only Neonatal Unit in Cornwall and we have a total of 20 cots. When using our charity funds, we focus on improving patient/family experience and improving patient care. The ideas for ways to improve both of these things come directly from our own staff and patient families.’’

Thank you
