Welcome to the Fortinet Channel Q4 2024 Charity Just Giving Page! This year the Channel Team have decided to work with Sands for our annual Charity!

Story

So - This is going to be a tough one, but for a great cause.

This year we get to take a team on the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks, but - there will be an additional "Extreme Edition" for those of us who appear to have lost our minds!

On the 21st November, we camp out in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, ready for a 6AM start on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to maximise our use of Daylight.

The walk should take us about 12 hours all being well, though with it being the end of November we just don't know what weather we can expect.

That night, those of us doing the "Extreme" edition will camp out again in Horton-In-Ribblesdale, for another 6AM start, to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks AGAIN, but in reverse.

Anyone who has done this knows that at 25 Miles, with three mountains, one day is a gruelling effort, add the lovely Yorkshire weather for November, camping and doing it again the next day and this adds up to be well worth your donation.

This years charity is Sands.

Sands work to support anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

Sands operates across the UK and Ireland: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives. Sands depends on the amazing energies of our supporters to raise the vital funds that they need to deliver the wide range of services that they offer.

They save babies' lives by amplifying the voices of bereaved families and healthcare professionals, campaigning for change in policy and practice, and funding research to understand why babies die.

They carry out vital work to improve maternity safety through targeted research, campaigning for change, working with government and reducing inequalities in healthcare to save babies' lives.

Thank you so much for your time reading our page, and for your donation!
