The Big Appeal for Nottingham Children's Hospital

Nigel Hewerdine is raising money for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity
Help raise £1.5million to support young patients and their families at Nottingham Children’s Hospital

Story

Following our experience at QMC last December with Emily, we have decided to help Ward E40 with their current fundraising. We want to give something back to repay the wonderful care we received. This will also help families who find themselves in a situation like ours.

Ward E40 at the Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham is a highly specialised children's neurosciences and spinal ward.

As part of Nottingham Children’s Hospital, the ward provides expert care for children and young people dealing with complex conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system, including neurosurgery, neurology, oncology, and rehabilitation.

Donations to Ward E40 help fund specialised medical equipment, enhance the rehabilitation and play areas, and provide extra comfort and support items for young patients and their families during long hospital stays.
