We will be walking part of the Camino del Norte starting at San Sebastián and going beyond Bilbao to Castro Urdiales this year-approximately 175 km over 8 days of walking in wonderful (tough terrain though!) Spanish countryside. Hoping to carry on this same Camino next year & should reach Santiago del Compostela in a future year. We will be raising money for the Matt Carapiet Charitable Trust towards a medical facility in Nepal. It has been 10 years since Matt passed away and his memory is still very close to our family’s hearts and of course the Carapiet family’s too. Our friends Angla & Vinod will be walking the Camino also.

The Matt Carapiet Charitable Trust is continuing its support to the villages in the Langtang area of Nepal, and will be funding a dental camp which they have arranged for in September 2025.

This will be the first step towards a more permanent treatment facility in the future to help improve dental hygiene for all in the area.

Any contributions will go towards this project.
