Nina and Malachi’s Skydive Dive 2025
We are raising money for Queens Medical
Centre to show our appreciation for the hard work, dedication, care and commitment all staff showed us when we had loved ones there.
Malachi’s nephew and Ninas daughter were both admitted to the QMC after being disgnosed with serious medical conditions. We want to give a little something back as a thank you and contribute as much as we can to enhancing medical intervention for children who are and will be cared for at Queens Medical Centre. Heres our stories:
Malachi’s story:
My nephew Renell was born 24/11/11 weighing 7lb 4oz and passed away on 29/11/11 due to severe rhesus disease, his bilirubin levels were so high they went to his brain causing brain damage leading to his organ to fail, a lot of protocols got put into place to make rhesus disease clearer to detect the day after his passing. He sadly lost his life to this awful disease but his legacy has saved many other babies including his little sister who was born and treated and is a healthy 10 year old little girl.
Nina’s story:
My daughter Molly was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January 2024. The news came suddenly and as a shock. She was admitted to QMC and following MRI scans and initial treatment, she underwent a lengthy surgery. Amazingly, the surgeon and team successfully removed 100% of the tumour.
We continue to visit the QMC for appointments and scans to monitor her but she is doing incredibly well and so far so good 🤞🏻.
I want to show my gratitude, to the hospital even if in a small way as they saved my daughters life and continue to keep her safe. Me, her father, sister and family will be forever indebted to the incredible staff, doctors and surgeons. Thank you- you are all phenomenal humans ❤️
