In March 2026, 25 Reckitt employees and partners, are taking on a ‘Journey of Water’ along the Tugela River in the Drakensberg, South Africa, for a total of 8 nights. 

Each participant is raising £4,000 (without Gift Aid), with 100% of the funds raised going to conservation projects in South Africa, to benefit and support local communities and wildlife.

South Africa is facing a water crisis; it is the world’s 30th driest country and receives only around half of the global average rainfall. The Tugela River, is an incredibly important water source to many in the region. The participants will learn more about it's importance, as well as experiencing and helping with conservation and restoration efforts around the River.
