For my birthday this year, I’ve decided to do something a little different. Instead of celebrating the traditional way, I will be donating to Health Care South Sudan. It is a U.K. based charity aiming to provide essential health care services and training for voluntary staff, supporting those suffering the impact of the ongoing civil war. As the war has evolved countless innocent lives have been lost and millions displaced. South Sudan is also suffering from the world’s largest hunger crisis — but access to basic medical care can be life-saving. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a real, tangible difference. For many of the South Sudanese population, this is their 4th civil war in under 60 years.
