Two major earthquakes have struck several states across Venezuela, causing widespread devastation. More than 430 aftershocks have been recorded, with extensive damage to homes, health centres, and critical infrastructure.
At least 1,450 people have died and more than 50,000 people are missing. A state of emergency has been declared as search, rescue and relief efforts continue.
