Bury Hospice's wonderful Dragon Boat Race- Team Rubber Combi Rapids Bro

Dragon Boat Race · 10 May 2025
NWCE Foodservice Equipment is proud to support Bury Hospice in their 2025 Dragon Boat Race! As a local business deeply committed to our community, we're making a splash for a cause that touches all our hearts.
Bury Hospice stands as a beacon of compassion in our community, providing vital care and support to people living with life-limiting conditions – and they do it all completely free of charge. But they need our help.
Here's why your support matters: The hospice receives only 17% of their funding directly, meaning they must raise the remaining 83% themselves. Every penny counts:
£1,000 keeps oxygen flowing to patients each month
£25+ funds a crucial home visit
£2,000 replaces a specialised mattress that ensures patient comfort
Despite being the smallest area within Manchester, Bury Hospice's incredible outpatient team supports 80-100 people in their own homes. Their wonderful inpatient unit operates 365 days a year, though currently only 8 of their 12 beds can be opened due to funding constraints.
That's why our team at NWCE Foodservice Equipment are grabbing our oars and joining the Dragon Boat Race on 10th May 2025. We're not just paddling for fun – we're paddling for families who need support during their toughest times.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps Bury Hospice continue their essential work. Join us in making a difference. Your support could help open those additional beds, fund more home visits, or provide the vital equipment needed to care for our community members.
