36 of our Scouts and Explorers have been selected to represent the Somerset Scouts at the World Scout Jamboree in 2027. This is a massive honour for them.

These young persons will be carrying out fundraising activities and tasks over the next 18 months in order to raise the funds they need to attend the Jamboree, and acquire any kit they need.

I have been selected as part of the Somerset Scouts contingent to attend the World Scout Jamboree 2027. It’s a huge honour to represent Somerset and the UK at this international event.

All funds raised through this page go directly to Somerset County Scout Council’s World Scout Jamboree Fund. This fund supports the participation of our Somerset contingent and contributes to the wider international Scouting movement, including helping to subsidise places for Scouts from less affluent parts of the world.

The Trustees of Somerset County Scout Council allocate support from this central fund towards the costs of the contingent and future international Scouting opportunities.
