Twenty years ago today, I was officially cancer-free, thanks to the incredible care of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Diagnosed with leukaemia at just two years old, I spent a huge part of my childhood within these hospital walls. I think with the circumstances, people think that an experience like this would be filled with trauma, but the truth is, my memories are good ones - because of the kindness, support, and hope I found there.

Great Ormond Street didn’t just save my life, they shaped it. Now, two decades later, I want to give back. I want to honour that little girl who fought so hard (and I will be thinking of her any time this run feels tough!) and to support every child still fighting. Every child with big dreams deserves the chance to chase them.

This truly is my WHY and the least I can do to give back ❤️ I am running the London Landmarks half marathon on the 6th April (despite my injuries meaning I haven’t properly run in about a month, so this will be fun!).
