Operation Yorkshire 3 Peaks · 30 August 2025

Scotty’s is a charity dedicated to supporting children & young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. A range of programmes are provided to support their bereavement needs, well-being, education and development.

Story

Operation Y3P for Scotty's Little Soldiers.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a Tri-Service charity dedicated to supporting the children and families of Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen who have lost their lives. Every year, more than 2,100 UK service personnel make the ultimate sacrifice while on active duty.

The berrieved children and families deserve our care and recognition. That’s why a group of lads and lasses from North Yorkshire, Redcar & Cleveland took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge—24.5 miles of rugged, mountainous terrain, battled in tough weather conditions—to raise funds for this vital cause.

PARTICIPANTS: Kevin Bunn, Jackie (Biffa) Boyce, Rob Cripps, Stephen (Caz) Caswell, Paul Hindmarsh, Elliot Hindmarsh, Mel Say, Marty Williams and Mick Say. In support: Andria Mcelvany, Kev Mcelvany, Jonathan White

We are incredibly grateful for your support, please give what you can.
