We are bringing the future of healthcare to children in hospital care.

Story

Our thoughtful, proactive year 8s have chosen to support Thinking of Oscar, a charity close to our school community’s heart as it was set up in Memory of Oscar, a sibling of a current student who died at the age of just 16 months.

We will be raising funds throughout the year including Christmas and Summer fairs and other exciting events involving both students and staff.

Thinking of Oscar aims to work towards the relief of sickness and promotion of the health of children, young people and their families whilst in hospital care across England by:

Providing support and activities to children, their families and medical teams who strive to make their time in hospital as comfortable as possible.

Providing funding for the development of research and development into and the provision of improved diagnostic techniques and technology.

Providing increased access to relevant knowledge and data via the sharing of best practice and the application of technology.
