OXSRAD is a unique community where everyone is welcome. For three decades, OXSRAD has been a lifeline for individuals with disabilities in Oxfordshire and beyond. As a life-enhancing health, fitness, and recreation centre, OXSRAD provides the tools and support individuals need to thrive physically and emotionally.

OXSRAD is more than just a sports centre; it is a vibrant community where people of all abilities come together, support one another, and experience the transformative power of sports, fitness and social activities. From an accessible gym equipped for wheelchair users to a sensory room, rebound trampoline therapy, and a wide range of classes and groups, OXSRAD offers unique resources that are unparalleled in the region.

I started working at OXSRAD in June, looking to be a part of a place that helped me feel rooted in the Oxford community, outside of university and rowing. In the coming weeks, we are focusing fundraising efforts into what we are calling Summer Serve—a week of fundraising, football and volunteering to give the center much-needed updates. The work that we do is special, and the impact is profound. As a member of staff, I feel blessed to witness this on a daily basis and I hope you’ll join me in kicking off the week strong and donating to this beautiful place so that we can continue serving the community for years to come.
