Ambitious about Autism is the National Charity for autistic children and young people championing their rights and creating opportunities. They stand with autistic children and young people by providing services, raising awareness, understanding and by campaigning for change.

Story

We are currently embarking on our own autism journey but have a lot of love for our autistic friends and family so this is also for all of them!

Finley has been playing Pokémon TCG for the last year - the contents of last year’s advent calendar were the first cards in his collection - and learning to play the game has really helped him try to regulate his emotions, and helped to focus his concentration and attention into playing the game, as well as supporting his social interaction and communication skills, it has done so much.

Will be donating money for his wins:

£1 for wins in weekly Pokémon League or online tournaments

£2 for wins in Cups and Challenges

£5 for a win in a Regional or IC

I don’t win as much as Fin so I’ll be doing my bit by running the Chester 50 mile ultramarathon in March. We’ll be updating this page with updates on both of our efforts!

Autism is a life long developmental disability that affects 1 in 100 people. It affects the way a person communicates and how they see the world around them.
