Story
There are around 100,000 children and young people living with epilepsy in the UK. To help raise awareness and funds for Young Epilepsy I will aim to run 100k 10 times during 2026. Each 100k run will be a continuous effort and I will be doing my first one on 30th January!
Childhood epilepsy can be frightening, isolating and often a misunderstood condition and Young Epilepsy do amazing work with children and young people with epilepsy, to ensure their voices are heard.
Our son Felix was diagnosed with temporal focal epilepsy when he was 8 years old. Felix has adjusted to living with epilepsy and all it brings, with multiple medications, seizures, anxiety and sometimes impacting on daily life. However Felix loves life and is determined not to let epilepsy hold him back from enjoying every day and Young Epilepsy have really helped with this.
Felix joined the Young Epilepsy Youth Voice Network a year ago and has been to events, meetings and groups to make friends, share experiences and help make decisions, create positive change and help other young people get the support they need.
Young Epilepsy is an amazing charity that is always on hand to provide help, information, support and advice to children, young people and their families. Your donation will help ensure they can continue this vital work.
Your contribution will make an impact, whatever you can donate, every little bit helps. Thank you so much for your kind support.
