Supporting Mental Health and Our Rising Generation

Team: European Wanderers Milan to Innsbruck Charity Cycle Ride 2024
I’m really excited to be fund raising for Mind again this year. Mental health touches us all, and I’m unashamedly passionate about raising awareness and making a difference. 1 in 5 of our young people have a mental health condition, up from 1 in 9 in 2017. We are so far away from having the provision required in place to meet the needs of our young people, in or out of schools.
Help invest in our rising generation.
This summer 16 of us take part in The European Wanderers’ ‘Milan to Innsbruck’ charity bike ride, a 365-mile, four-day bike ride from The capital of Italy to the mountains of Austria with the aim of raising funds for 4 different charities. Our chosen charities are: Mind, The Alzheimers Society, AMMF and Tommy’s
Starting in Milan the first day of riding takes us some 112 miles alongside Lake Como and up into the mountains. On day two, another 100 miler, we hit the huge and iconic climb of the Stelvio Pass which warms us up for day three when we ride further into the Dolomites to the Sellaronda. The fourth and final day of the ride takes us north along weaving cycle routes towards a well earned rest in Innsbruck.
